Index Coop is a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) that provides to access to on-chain DeFI index products.

Problem

At IndexCoop, ensuring that all their products have the deepest liquidity for retail and institutional token holders is a key priority. In order to achieve this, Index Coop needs to be able to track the liquidity of not only their index tokens but also the components tokens that make these tokens also. The Analytics team at IndexCoop needed a tool that made it easier to track liquidity from various exchanges in real-time.

Solution

Working closely with the Head of Engineering at IndexCoop, I rebuild the liquidity analyser platform to meet the new needs of the team. The app sources liquidity data from various on-chain and off-chain data sources and correlate with data together to create clear and easy-to-use dashboard for the Analytics team to use.

The dashboard also features a re-balancing simulator tool, that simulates the monthly re-balancing of index tokens. The was designed to account for liquidity sources and price impact via trades.

Result

The liquidity analyser tool proved effective for the team and is used regularly, particularly during their monthly Index re-balancing.
